Comprised of the three exhibition rooms of “Sun,” “Moon” and “Earth,” Nagi MOCA’s characteristic axis lines are built around the natural conditions of the land.
The attached gallery space is used to introduce young artists and display past works from veteran artists within the prefecture; it is also actively used as an exhibition space by artists from outside of Okayama.
Borrowing the landscape of the majestic Mount Nagi, the expression of Nagi MOCA changes with each passing day and season.
The Museum of Contemporary Art was intentionally conceived to go beyond the local area and influence the trajectory of the art and art museum world as a whole.
